As someone who has lived in or near Richmond Virginia for most of my adult life, I find myself frustrated at the lack of mainstream media and entertainment coverage that portrays the real soul of the city. All of these coffee table books show Civil War battles and random people rowing down the brown waters of the James River. All of that is cool, but that isn’t the city I know. The Richmond I knew was Club Boss, car shows at Byrd Park, Hoop-It-Up, Freedom Classic basketball games, etc.

This entire blog won’t be about Richmond, as I (as well as other contributors) want to discuss sneaker culture, fashion, current events, classic movies, hip-hop, amongst other things. However, I would like to spend some time documenting the untold culture of Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield, Petersburg, and all of the surrounding counties in the 804 region of Virginia.
